dON'T PANIC!

  • Identify the problem
  • Generate several possible solutions to the problem or goal
  • Critically evaluate each possible solutions to the problem or goal
  • Choose one solution and develop a plan for putting it into action
  • Evaluate the solution after it has been in plan for a while

Unwritten Rules of critical and creative thinking:

  • It wont always be obvious when you'll need to practice critical thinking 
  • Too much stress, fatigue, and time pressure can kill creativity
  • Some of your best ideas will come when you least expect them 
  • Failing and making mistakes can help you become a better thinker
