• They helped transport goods faster.
• Helped people travel faster.
• Helped get cattle to the west.

INVENTIONS

• Henry Ford invented the assembly line ,which helped things move quicker and more organized.
• The assembly line was invented around 1908.

BUSINESS

• Business slowly became better as they learned about factors of production.
• Like land is a factor of production where they learned to use the things that were from the land.

LABOR

• Some workers formed labor unions and went on strike.
• They went on strike demanding better working conditions,better pay, and less hours.
• Some of the strikes only caused riots and some riots even caused death.
