These individuals hold white collar jobs.
These jobs provide lower income.
Members of this class live a comfortable life, but work hard.

WORKING CLASS
Many individuals have jobs with physical labor.
Blue collar jobs are held, an example would be factory jobs as pictured.
Others hold pink collar jobs that are primarily with service.

WORKING POOR
These individuals work at the lowest paying jobs.
Such jobs include housecleaning, or day labor as pictured.
Many depend on government support.
Most are highschool dropouts.

UNDERCLASS
This includes families that are unemployed.
They work at low paying jobs such as the one pictured
Their income is public assistance.
They have a day to day struggle to survive.

WIC
This program stands for women, infants, and children.
This program supplies food to pregnant women.
This program also provides food to children under the age of five.
This program helps pregnant women in poverty get necessary nutrition.
I think this is a good method to help pregnant women. Picture shows healthy mom.

FOOD STAMPS
This is the transfer of goods and services rather than cash
This is the best known government subsidy. Picture shows appearance.
Poor people receive coupons that are used to buy food.
This takes care of their basic need of food.
I feel like some people might abuse this free money.

MEDICARE
Provides health insurance to those 65 and older.
It covers half of the health payments, on average.
This allows indivduals to take care of their health at a lower price.
The picture shows an elderly in retirement.
Also provides help to the disabled. I believe this is beneficial.

POVERTY
Poverty can lead to individuals being homeless.
This causes them to sleep on the streets.
They do not have necessary hygiene.
They do not have a good nutritional diet.
They do not have a proper job to survive.
