BASIC PIE CRUST

ingredients
1cup all- purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup shortening
2/3 tbsp. cold water

procedure
blend flour and shortening in a bowl using a pastry blender
sprinkle cold water in the mixture and press the mixture together
spread the dough on the floured board. roll it wth rolling pin
start rolling from the center out forming circle.
measure and cut the dough

roll the dough over the rolling pin.unroll over the pie pan to fit well.
pick liberally with fork before baking
bake for 12-15 minutes at 450F
