Charles was born on June 17, 1682 in Sweden. He was the only surviving son of his parents and took over the monarchy at the age of 15 he reigned from 5 April 1697 – 29 November 1718. He never was married or had any kids so his throne was given to his sister who surrendered it to her husband

The Swedish empire had a form of absolute monarchy where the kind didn’t need approval from any council or anyone they still had to abide by law though

The Swedish empire managed to defeat many army’s twice their size which was a major accomplishment, but they also caused their empire to have many casualties, which made their people unhappy.

History remember Charles XII, as a strategic expert who had bravely won many battles.
