TIME LINE OF DARWIN'S LIFE

  • Born February 12 1809
  • Went on a 5 year voyage in 1831
  • Returned in 1836
  • Published "on the origin of species by means of natural selection" In 1859
  • Died in April 19 1882

THE BEAGLE VOYAGE

  • The HMS beagle traveled for 5 years it was planed to be three
  • The HMS beagle was a survey boat (survey boats maped out the area)
  • Darwin was the ship naturalist his professor recommended the job
  • Charles went to many tropical places his most famous was the Galapagos

Charles Robert Darwin

Charles Robert Darwin was born on February 12, 1809 in Shropshire, England. Charles was born into wealthy and well connected family. He was the second youngest of six children. Darwin came from a family of scientists.

charles darwin was hated for his theory. But soon was thanked for his contribution to science as we know it. he was buried in a poor grave yard but was reburied next to sir Isaac Newton
