EARLY LIFE
Charles John Huffam Dickens was born on February 7, 1812
In 1816, Charles and his family moved to Chatham, Kent
In 1822, the Dickens family moved to a poor neighborhood in London called Camden Town
When Charles was 12 years old his father was sent to prison for dept.
Since the imprisonment, Charles was taken out of school to work in a factory, with low pay

Soon Charlies was able to go back to school
At age 15, he had to drop out of school again to work
He worked as a writer for the London newspaper, which was a starting point of his career

PERSONAL LIFE
Charles got married to Catherine Hogarth and had 10 children before they separated
Charles got married to a woman named Kate.

WRITING
Charles' first publishing was "Sketches By Boz"
Started publishing "The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club"
Charles' also published hIs first novel, Oliver Twist.

DEATH
Charles was in a train accident in 1865
He never fully recovered from the accident
June 9, 1870, Charles died of stroke
His book "The Mystery of Edwin Drood" was left unfinished
