• He was born on February 4,1902 in Detroit Michigan.When he was a boy he spent his summers on the farm in Little Falls Minnesota. There was no electricity.They had no telephones.
• They kept their cold food in a ice box.

• His father helped him make a tree house. They had no food deliveries. He joined the U.S. Army Air Service Reserve in 1924. .He flew the latest aircraft.

ACCOMPLISHMENTS OF CHARLES LINDBERGH

• When Charles grew up he loved to ride motorcycles.Charles flew a plane and became a pilot. His plane was called the Spirit of St.Louis. He flew from New York to Paris without stopping.
• He flew across the Atlantic Ocean.
• The flight lasted 33 hours and 29 minutes.
