CHARACTERISTICS

• The cheetah has is light brown fur with black dots, four legs and a bit more fur than a German Shepard. They weigh up to 77-143 ibs. Cheetahs about half the size of a lion. A family of cheetahs is called a felidae.

HABITAT

• You will usually find cheetahs in open areas, so they have space to chase their prey.

FOOD

• Cheetahs will usually eat types of deer.

BABIES

• The mom gives birth from one to ten babies in one litter! The mom stays with them until they are old enough to live on their own. The babies are called cubs.

• Cheetahs are the fastest animal on earth.
