Habitat
The cheetah lives in East Africa. It lives in the opening and sleeps in the tall grass. Today, people put fences in its habitat so it cannot run around like it used too.

Facts
It's the fastest animal on earth. It can run to speeds as 75mph to 60mph. Cheetahs are the only big cats that can turn in mid-air while sprinting. When running, cheetahs use use their tails to steer, like a rudder on a boat. Cheetahs knock their prey down and kill them with a suffocating bite to the neck.
