MAGNESIUM Mg

  • Magnesium was discovered in 1755 by Jospeh Black. Then it was isolated by Sir Humphrey Davy in 1808.
  • The name is derived from Magnesia, a district of Eastern Thessaly in Greece.
  • Magnesium was discovered in London, England.
  • Magnesium is found in the sea, it contains trillions of tonnes of magnesium. The sea alone produces 850,00 tonnes each year.

MAGNESIUM IONS ARE FOUND IN EVERY CELL IN THE BODY.

  • Atomic Number: 12
  • Relative Atomic Mass 24.305
  • Elemental Form: 12 electrons, 12 Protons, and 12 Neutrons.
  • Atomic masses like the one quoted above are found by taking an average of the masses of each isotope, weighted based on how much of each is present in nature.

When it burns in air, magnesium produces a brilliant white light.

  • Physical properties are: color, smell, freezing point, boiling point, melting point,
  • Melting points: 650°C, 1202°F, 923 K
  • Boiling point: 1090°C, 1994°F, 1363 K
  • Density: 1.74
  • Phase in Room Temperature: Solid
  • Color: Silvery White
  • Appearance: Shiny
  • Hardness: 2.5-3 Mohs

MAGNESIUM IS LARGLY FOUND IN THE OCEAN. ONE OF MAGNESIUM'S BEST USE IS IN MEDICINE.

  • What state of matter: Solid
  • Magnesium Fluoride, Magnesium Bromide, Magnesium perchlorate, and etc.
  • Vacuum distillation was used to remove the preponderant impurities, chiefly manganese, from industrially refined magnesium.
  • Magnesium Uses: Heat resistant bricks, milk of magnesium (medicine), sulfate ( Epsom salt), chlorine, and citrate, flares, mordant for dyes, and also in many power tools.

THE EFFECT THAT AN EVENT WILL HAVE A IMPACT ON THE ECONOMY.

  • Magnesium is very important on a economic level because it produces a less expensive type of metal and makes the construction of several things more affordable.
  • How would your life be different without magnesium: Magnesium is also critical for the proper function of the human nervous system, skeletal structure and brain.
  • How does magnesium affect us: Magnesium has a big effect on the environment, human development, and structural metals for building. Our lives would be very simple without the metals and we may not be alive since magnesium is essential in human development.

Magnesium is very important to our health and other various things that we are unaware of.
