Main idea #1: People in the Chilca tribe buried people and children. Children were sacred and so called "special." They wrapped them in organic material or sometimes cotton. They were also buried with jewelry.

Main idea #2: People in Chilca grew potatoes, Lima beans, squash, peanuts, and cotton. They didn't domesticate animals but they hunted deer and camelids.

Main idea #3: People in Chilca created social institutions to decide what jobs certain people would take on.
