CHILD ABUSE🚫

Child Abuse is a very touchy subject to most people. It is NOT a victim less crime. People who do such things, are horrible people, and never should be considered parents, EVER.! Children who have been abused need to seek attention as soon as possible. The reason I chose this topic is because, I think to many people become victims of this crime, and someone needs to do something about it.

Gearld Nickleby, From Cincinnati, Ohio, was allegedly beaten by his stepfather Jordan Sparks. Monique, Gerald's mother said otherwise, during a court hearing, Jordan was found guilty of not only child abuse but also, child molestation. Jordan was sentenced to six years in prison.

Character Analysis

Child Abuse is a horrible crime, Angel didn't deserve any of the things Jordan did, she was trying to do as she was told, but still ended up getting beat. Jordan's hand connected with her back, when she was doing as she was told. Jordan has NO respect towards Angel.

Gerald was hit trying to keep Jordan away from Angel. Jordan can't stand the fact that Gerald loves Angel that much. After that Jordan kept beating on Gerald. Monique didn't even do anything, knowing it was happening. It's sad to hear stories like that. Gerald should've called the cops and got all of this situated.

Call To Action
When reporting child abuse, it's very important that you stay calm, and be very specific with every little detail. It's also very important that you don't interrogate the person being abused. Doing so can lead to a lack of trust, and you won't be able to know then.
