CHILD LABOR LAWS

Age Restriction Law

• Kids must be at least 15 years of age to work
• If kids work, they must be able to go to school either before or after work
• Parents must approve that their child is allowed to work

Health Improvement Law

• Better sanitized working areas
• First-Aid Kit always available in emergencies
• A doctor or nurse available at all times in case of an injury
• Injuries must be reported and taken care of immidiately
• No more work that causes destruction of your body and must be able to take time off if you are seriously hurt of injuried

WAGE & TIME LAW

• Kids 15 and older should be paid 20 cents per hour
• Kids can work at most 8 hours a day, 5 days a week
• Work time starts anytime after 8 and ends anytime before 6
• Minimal wage must be $1 a day
