Purpose of the Wall

• Built to keep invaders out
• Towers were built so the people of China could fight back and protect their country.

Building of the wall

• The great wall of china is so curvy that people can't mesure it
• The wall took over 2,000 years to build
• The wall you'll see now is not the wall you'll see in 214 when they finished
• they started in 214 B.C
• You can see the great wall from one of china's space stations

Fatalities (death)

• More than 400,000 people died building the wall and were burried in the wall
• If you slipped off a slope and died people wouldn't care and they just kept building
