  • Real name is larry wayne jones,jr
  • Born and raised in flordia
  • Started to like baseball at the age of five
  • Was on the Atlanta braves AAA team first
  • Then was on the major league team of the Atlanta braves as a shortstop and third base man

  • His favorite things to do on his free time is to spend time with his kids, hunting, and baseball
  • He loves country and rap music and some what pop
  • His favorite movies are a few good men, the bourne movies, bull darham, and the love for the game
  • Jones worst habit is dipping

  • Chipper helped the Atlantabraves win the championship in 1995
  • That same year chipper got chosen for rookie of the year
  • Over the next few seasons, jones became known for his strong arm
  • In 1996 he achieved a batting average of .309
  • And named to his first of 3 consecutive all-stars team

  • In 1997 by hitting 41 doubles and of over 100 homeruns and career high of (RBI)
  • 1997 he score a average of 123 runs and more than any 3rd baseman history
  • His batting average increased to .313
  • He was the first major league history for 40 homeruns, 40 doubles, 100 walks, and 20 stolen bases
