Conflict
The conflict is that the Cray family has financial difficulties. Another conflict is that Derek Badger gets lost in a storm, gets bit by a bat and thinks he is a vampire. He continually causes problems on Survival Expedition and finally Jared Gorden, a drunk and abusive Father who makes his daughter's life miserable. He shows up with a gun and wrecks havoc.

Resolution
The first problem is solved by Wahoo's father taking the job with Expedition Survival and his Mother going to work in China. The second problem when Wahoo and Tuna encounter Derek and he comes along with them. The third problem is solved by Derek rushing in to save the day and he bites Jared Gorden's neck thinking he is a werewolf. Tuna no longer has to live with her abusive parent. The Book covers many issues including child abuse, conservation of nature, and Adults and kids growing up.

Rating:FIVE!!!
I recommend this book because how the author was able to put such an amazing story in such a small book. I loved how Mickey in the beginning got hit in the head by a dead iguana. It has all the things I love in a story except fantasy. It has humor, drama, no lack of a dangerous conflict and it has a large amount of suspense.
