ANSWER!

• Decide on 1 or 2 subjects that most engage your interest
• Make a list of topics or issues in those areas that you'd like to learn more about
• Authentic curiosity goes a long way

Discuss the list with

• classmates
• friends
• teachers
• family
• anyone you can think of who can offer helpful advice

• choose a topic from the list and do further reading
• talk to your supervisor
• keep a research journal with potential questions

• do you have ready access to the data/sources you'll need?
• has this topic been researched by others? (literature review)
