• Known for having 160 confirmed kills
• Protected our nation
• After he was dispatched, he taught at a gun range
• Served 4 tours in Iraq
• Killed the top two most dangerous snipers in Iraq

HOW DID HE DIE?

• He was shot at a gun range in Texas
• Killed by Eddie Ray Routh
• That day Kyle's bestfriend, Chad Littlefield was also mudered
• Routh was an ex-marine
• Routh was diagnosed with a mental illness before killing Kyle

WHY IS HE IMPORTANT?

• Inspired many Americans
• Admired and loved for protecting his country
• Srtuggled but still kept his head held high

WHAT HE THOUGHT

• Though Chris Kyle killed many people, he didnt think of it as murder
• Kyle said that he, "Killed to protect who he loved".
• He didnt think of himself as the best
• "I'm just at the right places at the right times"

HOW HE SURVIVED
Kyle was held at gunpoint in a gas station. The gunmean were unaware of who Kyle was, so it came as a big surprise when Kyle reached in his truck to get "money" and shot the two men in the chest. Kyle walked away with no scratches or bruises, and he even said it slipped his mind to tell his wife when he talked to her.
