CHRISTIANITY

  • Jesus was born through his mother Mary who was a young girl who had a humble Jewish family.
  • Jesus was born in a manger in Bethlehem.
  • People say that God sent him to make a better world other know as the savior.
  • Jesus spread his message until the Roman Empire put it to a stop and had him crucified.
  • Jesus resurrected and God used his resurrection as message and Christians spread that message throughout the world.

FOUNDERS

  • Jesus was the main founder and in the bible he tells peter he will build his church on this rock(rock means the apostles)
  • Later Jesus classified Peter as his first leader with the Apostle Paul.

BELIEFS

  • Christians believe that if they believe in Jesus they will have eternal life
  • Christians also believe that Jesus died for humanity, he raised from the dead, and will come again
  • Finally Christians believe in Trinity( three parts of God), God (the creator), Jesus (son of god), and the Holy Spirit( gods present on earth).

WORSHIP

  • Christians worship in churches
  • Most Christians worship on Sundays especially monks and nuns.
  • The people who lead these church services are the religious leaders but most call them priests.

CELEBRATIONS

  • One of the celebrations that Christians celebrate is Christmas. Christians celebrate Christmas by
  • putting out nativity scenes, putting on plays and telling bible stories.
  • Easter is another that Christians celebrate. Easter is the day of the resurrection of Jesus, eggs are a major
  • symbol in this celebration they symbolize new life and crosses are also a big thing to put out for this celebration.

OTHER ITEAMS OF INTEREST

  • These are examples of some preaching Jesus did before,during, and after his living on earth(Ten Commandments).
  • Don't misuse the name of God.
  • Worship no other God but me.
  • Jesus tells all people to love your God with all your heart,soul and mind.
