Followers: There are 2.2 billion followers worldwide!
Origin: Isreal
Founder: Jesus of Nazareth
Sacred Text: The Bible (old and new testaments)

Festivals:
Easter: Easter Sunday is when Jesus rose from the dead, or, resurection.
Christmas: Christmas is on December 25 and that is when baby Jesus was born. Around this time, you will see decoration, like Jesus lying in a manger with his family and friends around it.

Names:
Jesus is often called the Son of God, Light of the World, Lamb of God, and The Good Shepard.

Believers:
The believers of Jesus Christ are called christians. They believe that Jesus died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead three days later, and then went back up to heaven. When he rose up to heaven he said that one day he would return. To this day, they are still waiting for him.

Three persons:
Christians believe that there is only one God. They also believe that he consists of three persons which are: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Place of Worship: Christians worship at church most of the time on the Sabbath day which is Sunday.

Six Components:
The six components of a christian worship service is Praising God in Music, Speech, Reading from the Scripture, Praying, A sermon, and having holy ceremonies.

Christian Symbols:
The three christian symbols are the dove, the cross, and the fish.

The ten commandments: God created ten commandments that every christian should follow.

  • Thou shalt not have any other Gods before me.
  • Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image.
  • Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord your God in vein.
  • Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.
  • Honor thy father and thy mother.
  • Thou shalt not kill.
  • Thou shalt not commit adultry.
  • Thou shalt not steal.
  • Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor.
  • Thou shalt not covet anything that is thy neighbor's.
