CHRISTIANITY

BACKGROUND

The religion began with Jesus's birth his adult ministry his death and his resurrection. The god/gods of this religion is Jesus Christ, God and the Holy Spirit. Moses and Mary are very important to the Christianity religion. Moses received the 10 Commandments on Mount Sinai and Moses was killed alone on mountaintop outside of the promised land. Mary was was the human mother of Jesus and she was married to Jesus' human dad Joseph.

PLACE OF WORSHIP

• Church is the place where christians worship
• The church's leader is either a minister, preacher, or pastor

THREE SIGNIFICANT BELIEVES OF THE CHRISTIANITY RELIGION

• Jesus was the son of God which makes God the father
• Through his teachings we will inherit eternal life so when we perish we'll go to heaven
• Jesus died for humanity and he will come back in the end times and we'll be resurected

HOLIDAYS

• Christmas is Jesus' birth
• Celebrate with nativity scenes, stories, and plays showing his birth in a manger
• Easter- Jesus' resurrection
• Eggs symbolize new life, crosses with flowers to show Jesus' victory over death
