Around the world, Christmas is celebrated with many similarities and differences.

Belgium is located in Europe and the famous capital is Brussels.

Belgium's greeting, the citizens say,"Zalig Kerstfeest"...

...while in America, the people would say, "Merry Christmas."

Belgium's Santa,comes twice, during and before on Christmas...

... although in America, Santa comes only once on Christmas Eve.

After the citizens of Belgium are done singing two songs, they usually drink tea or some pancakes...

... while in America, the citizens sometimes drink hot coco or eggnog during/after caroling.

Both Belgium and America, have the same similarities of foods the people eat, like : turkey,chicken,stuffing,
candies,fruits,and desserts...

... although Belgium and America have many differences, what they both have in common, is that they have a Santa who gives out presents to little children.

After the people of Belgium and America have finished putting and decorating the tree, they would always put a star on top.
