BENEFITS

  • If you have enough chromium then that lowers your risk of having high cholesterol and coronary artery disease.
  • It also helps you build up muscle and burn fat.
  • Chromium might help keep blood sugar levels normal by improving the way our bodies use insulin.

Recommended Amount:
For our age it is recommended 35 mcg for guys and 24 mcg for girls.

BY MOUTH:
For type 2 diabetes:
200-1000 mcg daily in divided doses.
The safe and tolerable upper intake levels of chromium are not known.
