Inability to cool the body down due to not sweating

CHRONIC HIGH FEVERS

LEADING TO SEIZURES IS COMMON DUE TO

Inability to feel temperatures

Self Harm

Tongue biting

Severe Nail Biting

LIP BITING

CAUSES MAJOR SORE AND TISSUE DAMAGE

DEALING WITH CIPA

  • No known treatment
  • The older they get the better they understand the damage being caused
  • Will always have cuts, bruises, injuries
  • Leathery skin, burns, and scars are common among all ages
  • Will never fully be aware of pain or fear there of
