How To...

  • After you get your students through the "When you come into class in the morning...", or "When the period begins, you will..." procedures, have them circle up on your carpet or a big open space in your room.
  • You will sing the welcome part of the song and demonstrate how the kids can sing their names to you.

  • Variations: Kinder-2nd grade can sing just their name. 3rd-upper grades can sing the names that came before them in addition to their name.
