PRESENTATION OUTLINE

Human Body Systems

Focusing on the circulatory and muscular systems

circulatory system

heart,arteries, veins

Transports nutrients and

Waste

Functions

  • The circulatory pumps blood through your whole body
  • Your heart your lungs work to form a circle part of the system
  • Blood circulates and leaves the hearts from the left ventricle
  • The blood than goes to the aorta
  • Aorta is the largest part of the body

Vascular disease

  • Causes blood clots in the veins
  • Damages valves in the veins
  • Shortens your life span
  • Slow downs body flow
  • Can cause congestive heart failure

Angina pectoris

  • Causes pain in the chest
  • Causes shortness of breath
  • Causes fatigue and nausea
  • Cause when not enough blood gets to the heart muscle
  • People with this disease take nitroglycerine tablet to relieve pain

Ischemia

  • Heart does not get enough blood flow
  • Their is not enough oxygen to sustain muscle
  • This has very high metabolic, rate and oxygen demand
  • This causes sever paint in the chest area
  • This disease can lead to an heart attack

Muscular System

Skeletal, Smooth and Cardiac Muscle Tissue

functions

  • Moves limbs and trunk
  • Moves substances through the body
  • Provides structure and support

main organs

  • Chest Muscles
  • Biceps
  • Face Muscles
  • Groin Muscles
  • Abdominal Muscles

mains organs continued

  • Quadricep Muscles
  • Deltoid
  • Groin Muscles
  • Neck Muscles

How they are connected:
The circulatory system regulates the blood so it can travel to different parts of the body. The muscular system functions when blood is successfully carried into the veins in order to perform an action.
