By enforcing the National Security Law

What are some faults?

  • People's privacy are invaded
  • It might abuse the government's oversight
  • Civil rights could be taken away

Where's the evidence?

  • The government has more authority over what citizens can and cannot do.
  • They have more control since the influence of  North Korea is dangerous.
  • To make sure that this doesn't happen, the people are constantly monitored.
  • The people feel as though they have no privacy wherever they go.

Main Cons
1.) Citizen's rights would be taken away.

2.) Government can use this as a way to manipulate, control, lie, and abuse the people.

Pros!
1.) In order for people to have a sense of security, the government has to keep a closer watch, especially for things such as terrorist attacks or negative influences from North Korea.

2.) The government protects the ability to practice their rights, and without National Security in play, the people would be constantly attacked.

Let's Sum It Up!
National Security is a good essential to South Korea because it helps prevent any harm to the people, but in the process, some of people’s privacy has to be taken away, but they have to understand that it’s for their own protection.
