ABRAHAM Lincoln

  • Abraham Lincoln was the northern president that didn't agree with slavery.
  • He ended slavery with the civil war.
  • He warned the south about the civil war.

JEFFERSON DAVIS

  • He was the southern president and he agree with slavery and he kicked Sam Houston out of governor for not agreeing with slavery.
  • They had slaves and northern didn't agree with that

GENERAL GRANT

  • Gen.grant was the General of the northern army
  • Time later gen.grant became the 18th president.
  • At age 17 grant's father made him join the United States military.

  • From 1852-1855,lee served as superintendent of West Point.
  • Because of his ruptation as one of the finest officials in the United States Abraham Lincoln offered Lee the cammand of the federal force.

JOHN BELL HOOD

  • He was confederate general during the American civil war.
  • Hood led a massive assault at the battle of chickamauga
  • Hood returned to field service and at the age of thirty three and was promoted to command the army of Tennessee

  • He was resigned from the u.s. House of Representatives when Texas seceded from the union and joined the confederate state of America.
  • He served in the cabinet of jefferson Davis and Texas governor Francis R.lubbock

FRANCIS LUBBOCK

  • He was the governor of Texas during the American civil war
  • In 1861 Lubbock became governor of Texas.
  • He join the confederate Army and by 1864 Lubbock was promoted to aide-de-camp for Jefferson Davis.

  • General John B. maguder lead the battle .
  • It was in January 1, 1863 it was in Texas Galveston.general recaptured Galveston .
  • It was the first Texas battle.

SABINE PASS

  • Liutentant Richard Dowling and Davis gourds.
  • It happen September 8, 1863 In fort griffin at Sabine pass
  • North cut all pruduct lines.
  • It was the second battle
