STABLE FOOD SUPPLY
A stable food supply needs land to grow crops on, an area to domesticate animals, and patience. A community needs a stable food supply because you need to feed people or they will die and if you live in a community you cant travel around and following animal flocks.
ex: Agriculture is one example of a stable food supply because the word means growing plants and crops, domesticating animals, and not traveling to find food.

Technology
Technology like the wheel helped sumerians in there every day life. From pulling crops on a wagon to chariots for the army. The connection to us is that we use wheels in our everyday by driving around.

Religion
Sumerians believed that religion made there communities stronger because the religion would bring them together. We can relate to them because for religion we go visit a church rather than sacrificing an animal.

The sumerian people believed that art was very important because it was believed to be the most religious thing in our house.

Social Structure
Social structure helps sumerians to get along and make a better civilization. We can relate to that by just simply having friends.

Sumerians used clay tablets to write on and send messages. We can relate to that by writing a note or sending an email.

Sumerians had a government with a big civilization which they needed to tax, police, and reinforce law. We can relate to this because we have government with police and taxpayers.
