Life in the Camps Life in the camps were terrible for the prisoners. Most of the prisoners are forced to do labor work.Prisoners worked in poor conditions,Children also were treated the same
WAKING UP all prisoners are woken up at 4a.m. and had to put there shoes on and make there bed military manner and start the day as soon as possible. If they took to long or they didn't do the bed properly it gave the guards an opportunity to beat the prisoners
WORK Prisoners worked for 12-14 hours straight with no breaks.Prisoners tools were either a Shovel or a Pig Axe if weren't given a tool it mean't you had to work with your hands.Which often lead to death because the prisoner wasn't working fast enough for the guards
THE AFTERNOON this was the hardest part of the day for the prisoners. Most of the prisoners are starving and hardly have any strength to do anything. This gives the guards a chance to beat them to death and if the prisoner was not able to get up they would be executed
THE EVENING In the evening prisoners are called back after 12-14 hours of working go back to there rooms and weren't allowed to leave during the night.5 prisoners shared 1 bunk bed and 1 blanket and slept to get ready for the next day
