Classmates talking over the teacher??

Being interrupted while answering a question??

Classmates thinking the rules do not apply to them??

Having to put up with others being silly??

Having to listen to me constantly tell the class to be quiet??

To do about it???

I am putting our class's behavior back on YOU!!

This is our classroom!!

We are going to decide how to treat each other!!

And you are going to help each other follow what we decide!

THINK ABOUT THE FOLLOWING QUESTIONS?



How do you want me to treat you?

How do you want to treat each other?

How do you think I want to be treated?

How will we handle violations of this contract?

LET'S GET STARTED!!

Each group will need the following...

1. Facilitator (leader)

2. Scribe (take notes)

3. Spokesperson (speaker)

4. Timekeeper (stay on-task)

Each group will need to answer the four questions I asked you to think about earlier.

After 6 minutes, we will come back together as a class and discuss what each group came up with.

Here are the questions again...

How do you want me to treat you?

How do you want to treat each other?

How do you think I want to be treated?

How will we handle violations of this contract?
