but mainly learn)

... so how do you ensure that you and those around you can learn?

there are a few simple rules

first... Respect

  • Respect Yourself
  • Respect Your Classmates
  • Respect Your Instructor

treat them as you would want someone to treat you

... but how do you do that?

  • Pay Attention
  • Remove Distractions (phone, laptop, tablet)
  • No Talking (unless it is a part of an activity)
  • No Packing-Up Early - Wait Until Dismissed
  • Arrive On Time

Do Not Sleep in Class

Call the instructor Dr., Professor, Ms., or Mr. until told otherwise

when in doubt, call them "doctor"

and finally

dress appropriately

that means

  • Wear Clothes
  • Do Not Wear Pajamas to Class (too tempting to sleep)
  • Dress for the Temperature of the Classroom (some are hot, some cold)

... now go and be successful in class...
