Biographical

  • Parents: Addphe and Louise Monet
  • Education: Ecole nationale superieure des beaux arts, the distinguished national school of fine arts in France.
  • Family: Adolphe Monet, Louse Monet and, older brother Leon.

Claude Monet was in almost every sense the founder of French Impressionist paintings, the term itself came from one of his paintings. As a painter of controlled nature,monets garden was a big source of inspiration. He wrote instructions for his gardens with specific color and design.
