CLIMATE

BY: KAITLYNN AND VICKY

Light and temperature are two nonliving parts of an ecosystem.
Light from the sun is used by plants to make food.

Temperature and light are often related. Soil in a field is wormed up by the sun.

Soil in a forest is cool because the trees are preventing sun from hitting it and making it worm.

Temperatures help determine what organisms live in certain places.

Polar bears can live in very cold ecosystems.

Lions, elephants, and palm trees live only in warmer ecosystems.

The water cycle is also related to temperature and light.
