HUMAN SOURCES OF METHANE

This data supports the fact that the Earth's climate is changing because methane in the atmosphere has increased dramatically and exponentially in the last two centuries and continues to rise this way.

Other facts about Methane:

• Methane is colorless and odorless
• It is only second to CO2 in global warming
• Methane is a principle component in natural gas

Methane increases can lead to:

• Respiritory problems
• More frequent and larger forest fires
• Nausea, headaches, dizziness unconsciousness due to loss of oxygen
• 5-15% mixture of methane in the air can be explosive since it's combustible
