PRESENTATION OUTLINE
Clouds are evaporation from the ocean and lakes. Clouds form in the tropopause which separates the troposphere from the stratosphere
Here in Colorado, we live in a mountainous colder region. Because of this the tropopause rises and the mixture of warm and cold air produces the most interesting clouds and skies.
These clouds are called "mammutus" they are lumpy looking. These clouds will arrive before a thunder or lightning storm.
The type of clouds that form depends on the weather and the temperature outside. If it's winter or colder the clouds will most likely get a cloud that covers the full sky. If it's warm or summer the clouds will probably take on many forms throughout the day.
Clouds are a part of the water cycle. The water evaporates from the sea or rivers then the water collects in the tropopause because the warm and cold air hold the clouds together. Then eventually the clouds get really low and the water droplets fall back onto earth or in the ocean.
Clouds are one of the greatest things we have on earth. I choose clouds for this presentation because they are something I love and they are beautiful parts of nature.
The form of a cloud truly depends on the temperature and the wind that's in the area. A rising column of warm air develops into a thunderstorm. When the warm air rises the moist air causes rain droplets to from . The cloud grows fast. Soon the water or crystals are too heavy and fall from the cloud. At the top of the cloud closer to the tropopause the clouds take on an anvil sort of form. Thus is called the cumulonimbus cloud. This is the mature stage of the thunderstorm.
