• There is a clear Antagonist and Protagonist
• Hero and Villain share characteristics
• Thrillers oftenly open with action to catch the audiences attention

• Audio is very important:
• Music and silence to evoke the needed emotions in every scene.
• Music is used to build tension and then release it

• The force of antagonism must initially be stronger than the protagnoists
• All action and characters must be realistic
• Two major themes are desire for justice and morality of individuals
• The presence of innocence in what seems like a corrupt world
