- Roulade
Line a tray with baking paper.
Brush with butter.
CRUSH THE HAZELNUTS. AND ROAST THEM IN OVEN FOR 5 MINUTES
SEPARATE EGG WHITES AND BEAT UNTIL....
ADD SUGAR 1TBS AT A TIME, BEATING AFTER EACH ADDITION.
IT SHOULD LOOK GLOSSY AND THE EGG WHITE STIFF PEAKS
FOLD IN WITH METAL SPOON, GENTLY!!
SPREAD ONTO LINED AND GREASY TRAY EVENLY
MIX THE CRUSHED ROASTED HAZELNUTS WITH THE ADDITIONAL CASTER SUGAR
SPRINKLE OVER THE MERINGUE AND PUT INTO THE OVEN
WHILE YOU WAIT...BEAT CREAM (SOFT PEAKS)
PLACE ANOTHER PIECE OF PAPER OVER THE MERINGUE...
CAREFULLY FLIP THE MERINGUE OVER...AND ALLOW TO COOL
SPREAD CREAM OVER THE COOLED MERINGUE...
THEN START TO ROLL...CAREFULLY!!!
