GEOGRAPHY
The longest mountain range in the world, the Andes enters Colombia.
Colombia has coasts on the Atlantic and the Pacific.
It shares borders with Panama, Venezuela, Brazil, Peru Ecuador, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras,
Jamaica, Dominican Republic and Haiti.

Colombia is tropical and isothermal because its geographical location near the Equator.
Cool in the highlands.
It is close to around the low of 63 degrees and the high of 87 degrees Fahrenheit.

Chunchullo: Stuffed and fried poultry or cow intestines.
Ajiaco: Basically chicken soup.
Arroz con Coco: This is white rice cooked in coconut milk, water, salt, and sugar.
Bandeja Paisa: consists of grilled steak, fried pork rind, chorizo sausages, on a bed of rice and red beans that.
is then topped with a fried egg and a side of sliced avocado and sweet banana chips.

Dancing and singing is a huge part of Colombian culture.
In every region, the joyfulness and diversity of the Colombian people is expressed through many carnivals

Colombia has the second happiest population in the world.
Columbia's murder rate in there capital city is lower then the USA's capital city.
Colombia does not have seasons because it is so close to the equator it's always sunny.

Tlatilco Figure: One of the oldest artifacts in Colombia, made in 1200-500 BC.
The earliest examples of gold craftsmanship was made around he Pacific coast and date to around 325 BC.
Ranas bailando. (Dancing frogs) was made in 1990 by María Fernanda Cardozo.

Gorgona Island: Gorgona Island is known for its abundant wildlife.
San Andres and Providencia Islands:These islands are famous for their crystal clear water, and perfect beaches.
Tayrona National Park and the Lost City: Tumbling down from the tallest coastal mountain range on the planet.
