SUGAR ACT

  • April 5, 1764
  • The sugar act put taxes on sugar, molasses, and wine.

THE STAMP ACT

  • March 22, 1765
  • The stamp act made colonist pay for a stamp on all of there legal document , tea and ,other imported items.

THE QUARTERING ACT

  • May 3, 1765
  • The Quartering Act made the colonist house and feed British soldiers.

THE TEA ACT

  • May 10, 1773
  • The Tea Act was taxes on imported tea.

BOSTON TEA PARTY

  • December 16, 1773
  • Because of the tax on tea colonist snuck on to a ship and dumped 90 thousand pounds of tea into Boston harbor.

THE INTOLERABLE ACT

  • March 24, 1774
  • The Intorable Act was passed to punish the the Massachusetts colonist for the Boston Tea Party.
