WERE DID THEY COME FROM?

  • Most of the settlers were from the southern part of the state and moved to Texas.

  • Corn
  • Dried meat
  • Eggs
  • Beans
  • Dried vegtables

DESCRIBE HOMES

  • The homes were called breezeways,dog-trots,or dog-run.
  • The homes were made out of logs.the number of rooms could go up to two.

EDUCATION OF KIDS

  • Most of the kids back then did not go to schools because their were no schools around.
  • Some times the parent would teach them but that was if they went to school when they were younger.

2 CHALLENGES

  • One of the most common challenges were they had no doctors or any medicine to cure them.
  • Another problem was the native attacks .
