It affects your nervous system but mostly your brain.
It's just the brain dealing with perception of color.
But it doesn't affect your organs and anything else.

There is no cure for inherited color blindness
There are ways to get around it like
Colored contact lens and glasses that block glare

Can't tell the difference between colors
