COLOR BLINDNESS

SYMPTOMS

  • You may be able to see some colors but not others
  • You may see many colors, but can't tell the difference between other colors
  • In rare cases people can only see white,black,and grey.

RESEARCH

  • There is a research facility in Boise Idaho
  • They are tried medicines to help
  • The side affects are to severe to continue

AFFECTS TO SYSTEMS

  • It affects your nervous system but mostly your brain.
  • It's just the brain dealing with perception of color.
  • But it doesn't affect your organs and anything else.

SEX LINKED OR Mutation

  • It is inherited sex-linked disorder
  • Coming from relatives that have had it in the past.

TREATMENT

  • There is no cure for inherited color blindness
  • There are ways to get around it like
  • Colored contact lens and glasses that block glare

DIAGNOSED

  • You get diagnosed by seeing the wrong colors
  • Can't tell the difference between colors
  • But mostly get tested by a doctor

DISCOVERY

  • Colour-blindness was discovered by John Dalton (1766-1844)

STATUS OF RESEARCH

  • The status is there is no found cure
  • They have tried but none of them were successful
  • The reason being the eye is such a sensitive body part
