  • The Comanche lived in the Great Plains region
  • They took over the Central Plains Region
  • They lived in part of Oklahoma
  • They lived in part of New Mexico

  • They lived in tepees with buffalo hides
  • They created a modern tent
  • The entire village could pack up in one hour

FOOD AND RESORCES

  • They ate buffalo
  • They used wood as there resources
  • They ate rabbits when they traveled
  • They ate nuts,berries, and wild potatoes
  • They put snake poison on darts to kill animals.

LEADERS

  • Their leaders name was QuanahParker
  • Another leaders name was CuernoVerde,also known as green horn
  • The chiefs where well skilled and thought their warriors well.

APPEARANCE AND CLOTHING

  • Chiefs wore feathers
  • The Comanche women wore long deerskin dresses
  • The men wore buckskin war shirts and breech cloths with leather leggings
  • The men braided their hair and dyed half of it pink
