  • The northerner used lots of factories
  • In these factories they mass produced goods such as textiles
  • They used their products to use and sell to others

  • As the factories became more popular
  • Textiles became one of their biggest products
  • The factories and their machines allowed us to
  • Mass produce textiles making them easy to sell

SLAVES

  • With the use of factories less slaves were needed
  • Northern people worked toward the abolition of slavery
  • They accomplished this in the north and slaves were outlawed

FARMERS

  • Although factories were main economy source, farms were still used
  • Farms mainly provided the owners with supplies and food
  • Didnt use lots of cash crops
