Compound subject

A compound subject is two or more subject in a sentence.

They are conjunction and they share the same verb.

EXAMPLES

The horses and kings men could not put humpy Dumpty back together. Again.

Dolphins and elephants are highly intelligent creatures.

Happy, sleepy, and Doc knew snow white.

Red, white, and blue are the colors of the American flag.

COMPOUND PREDICATE

Is a simple subject made up of more than one noun or pronoun.

EXAMPLES

My mother mopped and scrubbed the kitchen floor

The telegram was late but contained exciting news.

They need to absorb nitrogen and keep above 20 degrees.
