  • RANDOM ACCES MEMORY
  • Temporary holds data, instructions.
  • Is volatile
  • Computer OFF- RAM disappears

ROM

  • READ ONLY MEMORY
  • Stores instructions needed for computer to work
  • Can't be easily altered
  • Computer OFF- ROM RETAINS information.
