LIVING CONDITIONS DURING THE INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION

LIVING CONDITIONS

  • Their is more kids working than their should be
  • They all lived very harsh and tiresome conditions
  • Their environment was really unhealthy
  • And they lived very stressful

LABOR HOURS & WAGES

  • They had to work at least 14-16 hours a day
  • Six days a week
  • Unskilled workers got payed $1.25 a day
  • Skilled workers got payed $3 a day

FACTORY CONDITIONS

  • They were very dark
  • A lot of pollution involved
  • They're was nearly any windows
  • They're was a lot of dangerous machines
  • Kids working have a lack of education and physical activity

HOUSES

  • Houses were built very quickly and cheap
  • They didn't have front windows
  • Didn't have backyards either
  • Their was at least 5 or more people crowded in one room
  • Houses were built next to factories

DEATHS

  • Most people were dying of common diseases
  • About 31,000 people died in 1832
  • They had a lack of medical care
