CONFLICT SUMMARY

  • In the conflict that I chose Stacey confronts T.J about him lying. T.J cheats on a test and blames Stacey, Stacey gets whipped by mama, after class, T.J goes off running. Stacey goes to the Wallace store and gets into a fight with T.J. Mr. Morrison has to come and break up the fight.

ACTIONS THAT CONTRIBUTED

  • T.J cheats on the test.
  • T.J blames Stacey.
  • T.J runs away from Stacey.
  • T.J cheats even after Stacey tells him not to.

WORDS THAT CONTRIBUTED

  • When Stacey came out of the class, his friends told him that T.J went to the Wallace store, which caused Stacey to be even angrier now that he knew where T.J was hiding.

OPINIONS THAT CONTRIBUTED

  • T.J took the matter quite jokingly and lightly, Stacey got angry that T.J. didn't even apologize.
  • Stacey thought that T.J was wrong in what he did and wanted to take his revenge.

BELIEFS THAT CONTRIBUTED

  • Stacey believed that T.J should have gotten what was coming to him and now Stacey wants to punish T.J .

  • The type of conflict was external and specifically Man vs. Man because Stacey was against T.J and not himself, or the society, or nature.

UNRESOLVED

  • Even though Mr. Morrison came and broke up the fight the situation never really got solved so there was no resolution.
