  • Rolled
  • Pressed
  • Molded
  • Drop
  • Refridgerated
  • Bar

ROLLED COOKIES

  • Rolled from dense dough
  • Flattened out and cut into shapes
  • Put onto cookie sheets

  • Very rich stiff dough
  • Use a cookie gun
  • Example: Swedish spritz cookies

MOLDED COOKIES

  • Stiff dough
  • Break off small pieces of dough and shape them

DROP COOKIES

  • Soft dough
  • Drop or push from spoon onto sheet
  • 2 inches apart because they tend to spread more

  • Lots of fat
  • Stiff dough
  • Flattening and rolling
  • Refrigerate to harden them. Then bake

  • Soft dough
  • Spread even,y in a jelly roll pan or square pan. Depending on thickness.

  • Cookies contain more dry ingredients, fat, and less liquids than cake

  • Some sprinkle them on, and some mix.
